THE GLOBAL WASTE & RECYCLING AWARD

The Global Waste & Recycling Award organised by the Global Energy & Environment Foundation shall recognise and honour outstanding organisations that are taking responsibility for defining a commercial future by adding value based on the ethics & values of corporate citizenship, transparent accountability, life cycle stewardship, strategic sustainability and conducting fair business in a disciplined manner that delivers a shared future for all stakeholders through commitment. The Awards shall encourage and celebrate the responsible business movement across the globe.

The objective of the Global Award is to recognise outstanding organisations worldwide, whether private, public, government, academic, individual. These organisations encourage & motivate to adopt best practices and become role model for others to emulate and implementation of strategies for improvement in operation standards. It gives morale boost to management, concerned team, employees and all stakeholders. The Global Award is supported by one of the most challenging assessment processes, to assess organisations for good practices.

SELECTION PROCESS

The evaluation of nominations for the Global Awards is an intensive process. Nominations are evaluated by the eminent jury, drawn from experts from government, academia and industry. They review documents and interview individuals and teams to analyse how effectively the organisation performs in the delivery of its strategic objectives. Site visit of short-listed companies / units, if necessary.
